Benefiting Boston Children's Hospital

Join us on Saturday, October 5th, for "Fitness for Funds," a special fundraising event to benefit Boston Children's Hospital. From sunrise til noon, all our morning fitness, Zumba, and tennis classes will contribute to this cause. We are also hosting the Tri for The Children event which is a row, bike, run triathlon competition! Our very own wellness and endurance coach, Susan Dwyer, is spearheading this initiative as she prepares to run the NYC marathon in November representing Boston Children's Hospital and Spark Fitness. Susan's marathon efforts are not just about personal endurance but also about making a significant impact on children’s lives.

All funds raised during these events will go directly to Boston Children’s Hospital funding breakthrough research, family support services, and vital care not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund.

By participating, you're not only investing in your health but also helping to support children and families facing tremendous life challenges. Let's come together as a community to make a difference.

MORE ABOUT “TRI FOR THE CHILDREN":

WHAT: Tri for the Children Triathlon Teams will complete a 15K triathlon (5k C2 row, 5k C2 bike, and a 5k run). Attempt it solo, or work in a team (teams of 2 or 3 - both will be in the same division) to complete the distances. Teams must complete all meters on the row before advances onto the C2 Bike, then again all meters on the C2 Bike before moving to the run. The run is done in 400m increments. Athlete’s can choose to break up the row and bike however they choose, the run can not be split in anything lower than 400m increments. Strategy is completely up to teams or solo athletes!

DONATION MINIMUM: $90/team or solo

WHEN: October 5th, 2024

Athlete Check in: 7:30am

Heat 1 of Race Starts: 8:15am
