Evan Sideman | Director of Tennis

My tennis career started at the age of 4, when I was introduced to the sport at Brooks School Day Camp in North Andover. After getting the tennis bug from camp, I was taken to a local club where I took lessons and started to play competitively.

I grew up playing in the North Shore League and worked my way through USTA and high school tennis before moving onto the University of Hartford. I became part of Men’s Tennis team from 2001-2004. In this time, the tennis team won several matches, advancing our team to the NCAA championships. My college tennis experience was one I will never forget.

I met so many awesome people all with different personalities and had amazing coaches that really had a passion for what they were doing. After college, I worked for several tennis clubs, including Cedardale Health and Fitness. I have worked hard to instill the love of the game, because I want everyone to have the great experience I enjoyed through tennis.

Coaching Philosophy:

I believe tennis is a sport for life and one for all ages and abilities. I want people to feel they are in a safe environment and feel empowered to grow, develop, and have fun playing tennis. I want to encourage people to improve themselves as players on and off the court. Play smart, make good decisions, and remember to always HAVE FUN!
